RasGas, EDF Roll LNG Deal

Qatar's RasGas on Monday signed a new long-term LNG supply agreement with EDF subsidiary EDF Trading; neither disclosed how long it would last. It's for up to 3.4 mil- lion metric tons/yr of LNG, equivalent to around 4.5 Bcm/yr of natural gas, and ex- tends their existing accord, which expires at the end of 2011. The LNG will come from RasGas production trains in Ras Laffan, Qatar, and be delivered ex-ship at the Zee- brugge LNG terminal in Belgium.
