Schlumberger is positioning itself to provide its customers with the full range of services needed to tap complex oil and gas reservoirs - from conceptualization to extraction of the last molecule of oil. That was the key take-away from Schlumberger executives' first-quarter earnings presentation on Thursday. The oilfield services giant says its size, technology offerings, geographic reach and skilled workforce put it in a strong position to meet the needs of its customers around the globe.
