German electricity consumers will see therate of subsidy payments for renewable elec-tricity rise by 1.8% in 2012, the country’sfour transmission system operators (TSO)said on Friday. Under German renewableslegislation, consumers will have to pay 3.592eurocents (5￠) per kilowatt hour in subsi-dies, or feed-in tariffs, next year.
