UK fuel suppliers met legally binding vol- ume targets for use of biofuels last year, the Renewable Fuels Agency (RFA) says, but most fell well short of voluntary targets for environmental standards and greenhouse gas savings. Under the second year of the govern- ment's Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation (RTFO), the UK's 20 suppliers were set a tar- get of ensuring 3.25% of the road fuel they delivered was made up of renewable fuels. In a recent report, the RFA said they actually delivered 3.33%, or 1.56 billion liters, in the 12 months to April 2010.
