China National Petroleum Corp.’s (CN-PC) Changqing oil block onshore China isexpected to produce 30.2 million tons ofoil equivalent (728,000 boe/d) in the first10 months of the year, the state giant saidon its website on Friday (IOD Jul.22’10).It says this is an increase of over 17%year-on-year and sets a 40-year record.The block, in the Ordos Basin, includesmore than 40 oil and gas fields and is CN-PC’s largest oil-producing area afterDaqing. CNPC also said the main Suligefield is on track to produce 13.5 Bcm (1.3Bcf/d) of gas this year.
