The Exxon Mobil-led Sakhalin-1 consor- tium has outlined production plans for Arkutun-Dagi, the last of three oil fields be- ing commissioned as part of its production- sharing agreement (PSA) project on Russia's Pacific shelf. The consortium, also grouping Russia's state-controlled Rosneft, Japan's Sodeco and India's Oil and Natural Gas Corp. (ONGC), plans to bring Arkutun-Dagi on line in 2014. Production should total 2 million metric tons/yr (40,000 b/d), accord- ing to Stephen Terni, Exxon's president in Russia. Terni said construction of a rig for the field is almost complete; it has been built partly in Russia and partly in South Korea.
