QPI Partners With Centrica

Leading UK gas marketer Centrica on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on joint energy-related investment with QPI, the international investment arm of Qatar Petroleum. “Investment targets will include new or existing projects in upstream oil and gas including, where appropriate, LNG, gas storage as well as combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT) generation assets and downstream opportunities, in accordance with each company’s strategic priorities,” said a Centrica statement, following signature of the accord by both chiefs.
