摘要

Philippine conglomerate Filinvest is in talks with two Australian firms over a partnership to build an LNG import terminal in the Philippines, an executive from its power-generation unit, FDC Utilities, said Wednesday. "We are in discussions with the firms - First Pacific Capital and Origin Energy - regarding the matter. Hopefully it works out, but the talks are in the initial stages, nothing is confirmed yet," the executive told International Oil Daily. Most of the gas would be used by power plants that Filinvest plans to build, he said. Reuters said in May that the company was looking to build four gas-fired power plants with a total capacity of 1,650 M W.
