E.On Gets UK Wind Farm Nod

The UK government has given German pow- er giant E.On the go-ahead to develop the 230 MW Humber Gateway wind farm off northeast- ern England. E.On said in a statement that the scheme, 8 km off the Holderness coast in York- shire, will generate enough electricity to power up to around 150,000 homes from up to 77 turbines.
