Japanese stocks rose 2.5% in the week ended Feb. 28 to 80.58 million bbl, according to data released by the Petroleum Association of Japan on Wednesday.Naphtha led the surge, rising 15.8% to 11.76 million bbl, while gas oil inventories increased 6.7% to 11.83 million bbl. Jet fuel and gasoline stocks also increased - jet fuel by 4.7% to 5.31 million bbl and gasoline by 1.9% to 13.73 million bbl. Only kerosene stocks fell, down 4.5% at 13.82 million bbl.
