Granular prices have again firmed this week, with reported business occurring in the $88-90/t cfr range. A cargo from India, and another from the UAE, are reported to have been sold into China at $88/t cfr. Additionally, a Chinese trader is reported to have sold 100,000t to the south, at 88cfr, and to river at around $90/t cfr. As a result, low-$80s/t cfr is now said to be unworkable, with all reported deals ranging from $88-90/t cfr, for granular.
