On the sell-side there are reports that Middle East suppliers have concluded contracts at a $1/t drop on 3Q prices in the mid/high-$70s/t cfr. But, this price range had not been confirmed by the buy-side at press time. Negotiations with Black Sea producers are said to be ongoing as the sell-side seeks an increase on 3Q prices due to the winter weather hampering logistics along with increasing transport and freight costs.
