Consol sells most 2016 Pennsylvania coal output

US coal producer Consol Energy has sold 93pc of its expected2016 Pennsylvania coal output and increased commitments for2017-18. Consol said today it had recently signed term coal dealstotaling 10.8mn short tons (9.8mn metric tonnes) for deliveryover a three-year period. Another 650,000st of additional coalfor next year was also sold.
