摘要

Poor wound healing is a common secondary complication for many diseases. Light therapy is a new way to improve wound healing. In this paper, we use LED to study the light therapy effect under low power and find the optimum irradiation parameters. It can be meaningful for practical application. A 630 nm LED and an 830 nm LED were used to research the influence of low-level light therapy on wound healing through cytological and animal experiments. In the cytological experiment, the cell viability and synthesis of hydroxyproline was measured. In the animal experiment, rats were given an artificial wound. Then, the effects of LED irradiation on wound healing were compared with control rats that did not receive the light therapy. The wound healing rate and collagen fiber formation was researched. This work for the first time, to our best knowledge, determines the optimal parameters for low-level light therapy by LED. The effect of LED application on wound healing was explored.
