ArcelorMittal SA is planning a shakeup at its U.S. operations similar to efforts already undertaken at its facilities in Europe. Changes are needed in response to a steep drop in steel prices, a strong U.S. dollar and a surge in imports, company executives said, noting that the Luxembourg-based steelmaker also had lost more than $100 million on bad contracts and inventory writedowns in the United States.
