Aluminum deox bids for May were flat for a second month in a row as discounting continued, market players said. Producers said most standard deox bids closed at $1.15 per pound vs. an anticipated range of $1.18 to $1.19. A few bids finished at $1.16 per pound, but those were described as a minor portion of overall sales.
