A week after an explosion injured four workers at U.S. Steel Corp.'s Lake Erie Works in Nanticoke, Ontario, it remained unclear Thursday whether the plant's blast furnace had resumed operations or might be facing a limited outage. Ontario Ministry of Labour spokesman William Lin told AMM earlier this week that it was the ministry's "understanding that the company is not using the blast furnace."
