ISK agchem sales up 2% in 2015/16

Ishihara Sangyo Kaisha (ISK) recorded a 1.7% increase in agrochemical sales to ￥48,800 million ($483 million at the current rate) in its fiscal year ended March 31st 2016. Domestic sales fell slightly and accounted for 27.7% of the total compared with 28.9% in the previous year. Sales increased in the EU, North America and Asia, which more than offset the decrease in Brazil due to lower demand for pesticides, the company points out.
