Four new ais gain EU approval

The European Commission has confirmed EU approval for four new agrochemical active ingredients. They are: Mitsui & Co’s biofungicide, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens subsp plantarum D747; Nippon Kayaku’s insect growth regulator, chromafenozide; Cheminova’s insecticide, gamma-cyhalothrin; and Dow AgroSciences’ fungicide, meptyldinocap. The approvals commence from April 1st 2015. The ais were cleared by the regulatory committee in late 2014.
