Adama agchem sales up 4% in Q3

ChemChina subsidiary Adama Agricultural Solutions has posted a 4.1% increase in third-quarter agrochemical sales to $711.9 million. Revenues covering all Adama business rose by a similar 4% to $761.5 million. Volumes added $28 million and prices $4 million, while currency changes shaved $2 million off sales. The company reports “impressive” gains in Europe and Latin America. Chairman of the board Yang Xingqiang labels the results as “strong” and coming in a “more challenging period for the industry”, such as low commodity prices, and rates cash generation as “significantly noteworthy”.
