Following the consolidation of three of its US subsidiaries earlier this week, Shiseido Co Ltd has announced the appointment of Shoji Takahashi to the position of chairman and ceo of Shiseido Americas Corporation (SAC). Takahashi will replace Shuichi Tanaka who has been with Shiseido for 35 years, most recently as chairman and ceo of Shiseido International Corporation. Tanaka will retire at the end of this month.
