No trades were reported or seen Tuesday in the US over-thecountercoal market, but interest for Powder River Basin 8,800 Btu/lbcoal helped to tick up pricing on the first day of the new front month.Brokers reported a bid of $9.25/st and offer of $9.50/st for the PRB8,800 June contract. That spread stayed wide, sources said. Brokerson Monday heard a $9.40/st offer for the same contract.
