CFTC seeks comments regarding swaps data collection

The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission hastaken a step to clean up inconsistencies that have made the swap datait collects difficult to use.In an effort to better standardize the data collection, the CFTC onDecember 22 sought public comment on 80 questions tied to 120 dataelements for swap data reporting such as price, clearing product,periodic reporting, order and notional amount.
