Spot deals for 5,500 kcal/kg NAR South African thermal coal were hard to come by amid limited demand from the main consuming industries and supply tightness, sources said Tuesday. Platts assessed 30-60 day prices for CFR India West at $71.95/mt and CFR India East 5,500 kcal/kg NAR coal at $71.10/mt, both stable from Monday.
