Rhino Resource Partners is rampingup production at its Pennyrile underground steam coal minein western Kentucky after start up operations earlier this yearwere hampered by unexpected geological problems.The issues at Pennyrile, also known as Riveredge,caused Rhino’s third-quarter production to dip slightly.Chris Walton, CEO of the Lexington, Kentucky-based company,was relieved of his duties in November and replacedby Joseph Funk, according to a Rhino filing with the USSecurities and Exchange Commission.
