Mesoporous silica (MPS) materials with cylindrical pore and interparticle mesoporous silica (IPMPS) were synthesized by common sol-gel methods. Using these two types of MPS, we examined the effect of enzyme activity on MPS with different pore structures. We observed that enzymes immobilized on IPMPS showed a higher activity.
