The leading pharma industry trade fair, CPhI Worldwide, organised by UBM EMEA, was held for the first time in the Spanish city of Barcelona from October 4-6, 2016. According to the organisers, pre-audit figures indicated a record-breaking attendance of over 42,000 and around 2,550 exhibitors. The 27th edition of the show saw visitor participation from 156 countries - with over 7,000 travelling from China and India alone.
