Waters and BioCity plan open access analytical laboratory in UK

US-based analytical technologies major, Waters Corporation, and Bio-City, UK's largest bioscience incubator company, have agreed to launch an open access analytical laboratory. Located in the BioHub at Alderley Park, UK, the laboratory will offer Waters' state-of-the-art liquid chromatography (LC), mass spectrometry (MS) and informatics technologies, along with a suite of analytical platforms to scientists working in the pharmaceutical and life science industries. The laboratory - scheduled to open in early 2016 - will also include a nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) system provided by Manchester Science Partnerships, the owners of Alderley Park.
