Oil Minister inaugurates HPCL's R&D centre in Bangalore

Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan recently dedicated HPCL's new R&D centre in Devengunthi, Ben-galuru to the nation. The centre will pursue research activities in the areas of catalysis, fluid catalytic cracking (FCC), hydro processing, process intensification, residue upgradation, crude and crude compatibility, novel separations, nanotechnology and alternative energies such as bio-iuels and solar. The centre is recognised by The Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR).
