Henkel setting up its biggest adhesives manufacturing unit near Pune

Henkel Adhesive Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. - a manufacturer of adhesives, sealants and functional coatings and a wholly-owned subsidiary of German conglomerate, Henkel — is setting up its largest adhesives plant in Kurkumbh, near Pune. The unit, which the company said would be India's largest adhesives plant, will involve an investment of around Euro 30-mn (around Rs. 220 crores). The first phase of the plant with a production capacity of 80,000 per annum of adhesives and surface treatment chemicals is expected to start production by early 2017.
