Styrene, MEK and Aniline ease

The week under review saw downward revision in the prices of styrene, MEK, acrylonitrile and aniline while most other chemicals witnessed a steady trend. Toluene (Reliance) was steady at Rs. 43 (basic) for bulk, while packed material ruled at Rs. 48 (basic). BPCL material was quoted at Rs. 48.55 (basic) in bulk. Imported toluene was up by Rs. 3-4 and quoted in the range of Rs. 47/48 in bulk. Benzene domestic was quoted at Rs. 45.85 (basic), while BPCL's benzene ruled at Rs. 45.65 (basic) in bulk. Imported benzene was available in the region of Rs. 44/45- per kg (basic).
