Toluene, Mixed xylene, o-Xylene and Acetone ease; Vinyl acetate firms up

The week under review saw a downward trend in the prices of toluene, acetone, mixed xylene and ortho xylene; vinyl acetate gained on previously reported levels. Toluene (Reliance) was revised downward by Rs. 4 and quoted at Rs. 69.50 (basic) in bulk, while packed material ruled at Rs. 73 (basic). BPCL material was quoted at Rs. 71 (basic) in bulk. Benzene (Reliance) was unchanged at Rs. 84 (basic), while BPCL's benzene moved down by Rs. 1.60 to Rs. 77.70 (basic) in bulk.
