Petronet LNG seeks Kerala government help for laying getting pipelines

Petronet LNG Ltd. (PLL) has urged the Kerala Government to take a 'positive initiative' in getting the gas pipeline work in northern Kerala completed. According to Mr. A.K. Balyan, Managing Director and CEO, PLL, the laying of pipelines is crucial for the gas sector and its completion will benefit neighbouring Tamil Nadu and Karnata-ka by receiving natural gas from the Rs. 4,600-crore LNG terminal in Puthuvy-peen (Kochi), which is currently underutilised.
