Swiss firm Clariant has opened a newest mining application and development centre in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, which will serve as the company's global excellence centre for iron and phosphate ores and pelletising. "The centre is strategically located at the heart of the Brazilian mining industry, close to customers, universities and research centres," explained Mr. Finlay Morrison, Vice President and Head of Clariant's mining solutions business.
