Alkyl Amines plans new methylamine unit at Dahej

Alkyl Amines Chemicals is planning to set up a methylamine manufacturing facility at Dahej in Gujarat with an estimated investment of Rs. 250-crore. "We are adding capacity every year based on our own R&D technology. We are now setting up a 100 tonnes per, day methylamine manufacturing facility at Dahej," informed the company's Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. Yogesh Kothari. The company has acquired the land in Dahej and project is expected to commence production within next three years, he added. The unit will cater to the needs of the pharmaceutical, agro-chemical, rubber chemicals, paints and dye industries.
