The week under review saw prices of o-xylene, methanol, formaldehyde, butanol, iso-butanol and phenol being quoted higher than the previously reported prices. The basic rate of Toluene (Reliance) stayed unchanged at Rs. 67 (basic) in bulk, while the rate for packed material ruled one rupee lower at Rs. 69 (basic). BPCL material was quoted at Rs. 65.35 (basic) for bulk. Benzene (Reliance) was also steady at Rs. 62 (basic) for the bulk, while BPCL material was quoted at Rs. 61.30 (basic) in bulk. The market rate for the packed material, however, was down by Rs. 3 and ruled at Rs. 63 (basic).
