The Industrial Green Chemistry Awards (IGCW-Awards) are one of the first Indian awards to acknowledge individuals, organisations and institutes for recognizing the importance and urgency towards integrating the principles of green chemis-try and engineering into their conventional ways of doing chemistry. It is to acknowledge pioneering and path-breaking initiatives, which are promising, and when recognized, can serve as potential reference technologies and solutions for creating a wave of green chemistry and engineering based initiatives across the chemical industry.
