UK-based biotech companies looking for partnership opportunities in India

UK's Biolndustry Association (BIA) is keen on exploring collaboration opportunities for its members with Indian biotech and pharma companies. The BIA recently brought a trade delegation consisting of small and medium-sized UK biopharma companies to India. The delegation's visit was facilitated by UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), a UK Government body which assists UK companies succeed in international markets, as well as helps overseas companies to invest in the UK. The delegation held discussions with biotech firms in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore on consecutive days to understand the strengths of the Indian industry. At the Mumbai meet, select UK companies made presentations highlighting their core strengths.
