Method of operating a firewall (140) to carry out business transactions securely between a user and a company (130) via a network, comprising: receiving, through the network firewall in a first case (i) of the company with which the user is currently connected or, in a second case (ii), the user via the network, a request in the first case (i) of the company or in the second case (ii) the user to activate a secure communications channel (144) in the network between the user and the security server, wherein the request includes contact information to contact the user through another means (150 ) different network; pass through the firewall, in the first case (i) in response to the activation request received or in the second case (ii) in response to a transaction information received, an activation code for delivery to the user through means other than the network and corresponding to the contact information received; receiving from the user, a firewall across the network, an activation code; compare the firewall, the activation code received with the activation code transmitted to validate the activation code received; and enable secure communications channel based on the validation of the activation code received; which also includes only the second case (ii) pass through the firewall to the user via the network in response to the activation request received notification that the secure communications channel is almost activated ; and receive, in the firewall through the network, the transaction information including an identifier of a company and details of a transaction that the user wants to perform with the company; and transmitting transaction information, the firewall the user through enabled secure communications channel.
