BASF India Ltd. has reported a huge net profit for the third quarter ending December 2009.The net profit of Rs. 11.25-crore posted during the period under review is 2,643.90% over its remarkably lower net profit of Rs. 0.41-crore reported during the same period in the last financial year. The net sales turnover achieved by the company in Q3FY10 amounted to Rs. 288.19-crore, a 40.16% increase over Rs. 205.62-crore recorded in Q3FY09. The plastics and chemicals divisions of the company contributed Rs. 40.52-crore and Rs. 9.49-crore, res-pectively, to the total turnover of the company for the quarter.
