India set to break into top 10 pharma markets of the world by 2015:McKinsey report

A new report by the global consulting firm McKinsey has predicted tripling of Indian pharmaceutical market to US20-bn over the next decade.The projected growth would see India become the 10th biggest pharmaceutical market-moving up from the 14th position two years ago - by replacing Brazil,Mexico,South Korea and Turkey.The Indian pharma market was pegged at US6.3-bn in 2005.
