DuPont and Genencor,a division of Danisco,are forming a 50:50 joint venture company named DuPont Danisco Cellulosic Ethanol LLC,to.develop and commercialise low-cost technology-solutions for the production of cellulosic ethanol,the next generation biofuel produced from nonfood sources.The joint venture plans an initial three-year investment of US140-mn,which will initially target corn stover and sugarcane bagasse.
