Newer applications and aggressive,marketing key to castor industry's growth

The 5th International Seminar on 'Castor Seed,Castor Oil & Its Value Added Products' was organised by The Solvent Extractors' Association of India(SEA)on 18 February,2007 at Ahmedabad.Over 270 delegates from India and abroad participated in the event,which provided a forum for open discussions and exchange of views about the castor crop survey carried out in major castor growing states in India.The conference also discussed important issues pertaining to the castor business,in a bid to find solutions to the problems faced by the manufacturers,technologists,players from the commodity exchanges,brokers and dealers.
