Acquisition of Lanxess' paper chemicals business to propel Kemira to top position

Kemira Oyj have reached an agreement with Lanxess to acquire the latter's paper chemicals business.When finalised,this agreement will make Kemira the biggest supplier of pulp and paper chemicals globally."The acquisition of the Lanxess paper chemicals business is in line with Kemira's growth strategy.Through this deal we will further strengthen our position in the market for paper chemicals," said Mr.Lauri Junnila,President,Kemira Pulp & Paper Chemicals Business Area.
