Kemira Oyj completes the acquisition of AkzoNobel paper chemicals business

After the acquisition Kemira is the only global company offering both pulp bleaching and paper chemicals. AkzoNobel has had a strong position in microparticle based retention systems which strengthens Kemira's product portfolio for wet end control. The newly developed EcoFill system for strength and high filler loading is also new to Kemira's offering. We also have new products in coating as well as in sizing and wet strength.
