UK to moots Rs.900 crore investment in grass-roots methanol plant

The Indian government has approved 30 foreign direct investment proposals worth us241.4 mn spanning chemicals and petrochemicals,auto parts and media sectors.Among the major projects cleared was a Rs.900 crore proposal by UK-based Gabriel Trade & Investment Co Ltd.to set up a whollyowned subsidiary to manufacture methanol in India.
