OCI (Amsterdam) has announced that it has formally commenced proceedings to demerge the company's engineering and construction business from its fertilizer and chemicals operation. The board announced the demerger in November 2014. The construction business will be called Orascom Construction (Dubai) and will be dually listed on Nasdaq Dubai and the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) as a global engineering and construction company.
