ACC Petitions FDA to Restrict BPA's Use in Baby Bottles, Cups

ACC has asked the U,S. PDA to amend federal regulations to prohibit bisphenol A (BPA) in materials used to manufacture baby bottles and sippy cups. The FDA regulation at issue governs the use of polycarbonate resins in food contact materials and currently does not prohibit BPA in baby bottles or sippy cups.
