DCAT: Supply Chain Safety High an List of Concerns

Supply chain safety was a major concern at the annual confer- ence of the Drug, Chemical, and Allied Technologies Association (DCAT; Robbinsville, NJ) meeting, held late last month in New York. Major contamination incidents in the last year, including the recall of the anticoagulant drug heparin, have alerted the industry to the need for better supply chain audit practices and increased supervision of facilities in developing countries including China and India, speakers said.
