BASF Plans Big Expansion in Biodegradable Plastics

BASF says it is planning a significant expansion of biodegradable plastics production.Capacity for Ecoflex,BASF's biodegradable polyester,will be increased at Ludwigshafen from 14,000 m.t./year,to 60,000 m.t./year by the third quarter of 2010.
